I'm a environmental consultant recently working with clients who are branching out internationally. I've been exploring different green building certifications—specifically LEED, BREEAM, DGNB, and WELL—to determine how they stack up against each other. What I find difficult is the overlapping scopes and the sometimes mixed messages in marketing materials, making it hard to accurately communicate to clients why they might select one standard over another.
